Some people with major depression experience the symptoms of depression only once in their life. Others may experience frequent relapses and recurrences.
Depression is a prolonged emotional state of feeling down, fatigued and negative about life. It may be in response to stressful life events or there may not be any identifiable reasons. Depression may result in a loss of pleasure from those things one used to enjoy, and it can undermine one’s ability to concentrate, remember details and make decisions.
Depression symptoms can be both emotional and physical. Signs and symptoms of depression include mood swings, feeling sad, worried, anxious,withdrawing socially, feelings of hopeless, fatigue, guilty, irritable, sensitive, indecisive and restless as well as suicidal thinking.
The physical symptoms of depression could include; headaches, back pain, muscle ache & joint pain, digestive problems such as diarrhea or chronic constipation, exhaustion & fatigue, change in appetite resulting in weight gain oe weight loss, dizziness or light headedness

We are supervised by a Registered Registered Social Worker, We can provide benefits under the services of Psychotherapy and MSW (Social Worker).
